 A Double Rainbow!  We rarely see rainbows here, so this was a special treat!

Noah's Class Trip to the Frilandsmuseet

Noah's teacher arranged a tour bus to take all of the students and their families to the outdoor museum.  It was a really fun day walking around the old buildings, tasting apple products and having fun.  But, I think the highlight of the trip was the ride home in the double-decker bus!

We loved the Aldershvile Ruins so much, that we thought it would be  the perfect location for some family pictures.  We had such a fun day taking pictures and playing around the grounds.  The kids all got to choose a location and pose us, so that was fun....  Here are some of our favorites.

Fredensborg Palace

We took a random trip up north and ended up at Fredensborg Palace.  This palace was built in the early 1700's and is one of the Royal Family's most used residences.  You can't get super close to the residence, but it was fun to take some pictures and walk through the gardens, which were quite beautiful. 

We also found found some Castle ruins.  Gurre Castle dates back to the 12th Century.  Not too much left, but still fun to walk around.
