Myra starts 1st Grade, Again...

After a short, 6 week summer break, Myra once again started school again.  She is now in the 1st grade, again.  She would have started 2nd grade if we still lived in the states, but here they start a year behind.  She is still in her Danish learning class and seems to really enjoy it.  We are very happy that there are several more kids, including a couple of girls.  One girl in particular, she really gets a long with.  A little girl from Canada that speaks English, so that's really nice for both of them that they have someone they can easily communicate with.  And she lives just across from us, so they play together a lot out of school as well.  Myra is starting to get really good with her Danish and has even been doing some translating for me.  She loves reading and it's common to find her at night, in bed with her flashlight and a book.  She loves playing with her siblings and is a big help to her parents.  I think this will be a good year for her!

  2. Myra, I am excited that you are learning Danish so quickly and helping your mom! Audrey also LOVES the Spy kids movies and watches them a lot. We even watched number 3 this last week. I really like your new haircut and I think your mom did a great job! We just started school here and Audrey got a new hair cut too. I am happy that you have new friends and one you can play with right across the way from you. Good luck in school! You will do great!
