Medieval Festival

For the 3rd year in a row, we made our way to the Valby MidderalderFest.  This time we went with the Jensen's and we hardly took any pictures.  But we had a great time. Amazingly, for the 3rd year in the row, it was a super hot, nice sunny day.  Not something you can bet on in Denmark.  We started out the day by letting the kids do an activity. Noah and Myra fought a "knight" and Lexi shot a bow and arrow.
See the big smile on all of Myra's picture?  She was so happy.

We were waiting in line for the kids to fight and the knight was actually a guy, really dressed up with a helmet and everything.  Noah was so excited.  Just when it was his turn, he left and a girl replaced him and Noah was pretty disappointed about that.  We finally got him in there to fight and he was a little timid at first, but finally got the hang of it.  Fighting a knight was his dream.

Lexi was very good at shooting the bow and arrow. She came very close to the center on all of her arrows.

The jousting tournament is always really fun to watch.  The year was a little too much "story" and not enough fighting.  Still fun to see though.
