The Bells of Vor Frue Kirke

One of our favorite places in Denmark is The Church of Our Lady.  We have been there countless times.  It's where Thorvaldsen's original Christus statue and statues of the apostles are housed.  The Christus statue at Temple Square is a replica of this statue.  The church is so beautiful and peaceful.  We love it.  We heard that they had an opportunity for us to go and take a tour of the tower and hear the bells rung.  So, we took a quick trip into the city just to go there.  It's one of the tallest towers in Copenhagen, so we got a great view of the city.  And they rang the bells just for us!  The oldest bell in Denmark is there.  It was cast in 1490.  Crazy, huh?!?
