Easter Break

In Denmark, the kids get a huge Easter Break.  They end up being home for 10 day straight!  We had a few days of colder, rainy weather, so those were nice at home days.  One day, we decided to get together with Alaina and Olivia and meet up at a park.  It ended up being a super windy and quite cold day. And we didn't plan very well with clothing.  So, we played for a little while, but the kids were just too cold, so we headed home before too long.  The ride home was dreadfully cold.  About half way there, we stopped at the local farm to get off our bikes for a few minutes and it ended up being a very good choice.  There was an indoor greenhouse type building with goats that we spent most of our time in.  We could go right in and play with the goats.  It was great.  We stayed for a while before heading home with the decision to go back the next day.
The kids were so excited to go back the next day and we spent about 4 hours at the farm.  We played with the goats again, the rabbits, the kids got little pony rides.  It was a blast.  We also enjoyed a nice bike ride and some time at a fun playground.  It was a great day.

The goats were so much fun.  They let us pet them and hold them, the babies would suck on our fingers and they were constantly nibbling at our clothes and hair.  So much fun!

Noah was really scared of the Cow mooing.

We drove totally out of the way on the way home, just so the kids could ride back and forth under this bridge a couple of times.
 Loving the SpringTime!

On another day during the break, we went into work with Chad.  He went to work, while we headed off to explore the area.  We played at a playground the kids always want to stop at, that ended up being not as exciting as they expected.  We had lunch at McDonalds, went through a maze several times and finally ended up at a large park that we had never been to before.  It was kind of a chilly day, but we had a fun time walking around.  Chad was going to meet up with us, but Noah threw a huge tantrum about having to leave a specific area and well, it was pretty bad.  So, we just headed home.

Hanging out in the plants in the middle of the maze.
 Beautiful park.

This playground was actually an outdoor exercise area, but it was all kids playing on it, except for this one guy that was grunting and sweating and throwing his swagger all around.  It was actually kind of funny, especially when Noah started imitating him.

We had a really fun Easter Break.
